Currently back home!
In the morning we went to Hillarys Boat Harbour. We swam out to a platform. It was far out and very deep. On the platform there was a slide.
After lunch we picked up mummy from the train station and drove up to Lancelin. We walked on a beach and jumped off the pier on to the sand.
Today we went to Fremantle Prison. It is a stone prison and is no longer in use. We got a tour to show us the cells and inside the building. There was also a chapel and a library.
Today we drove to Mandurah and played on the beach with Isaac. Then some people helped us catch crabs. In the evening we got on a pirate ship and saw pretty Christmas lights. We got a pirate hat and a glow stick. We shouted ‘ahoy!’ to every boat that went past.
Today we went to Mullaloo Beach and swam in the sea. It was cold. We did body boarding and built sandcastles. It was fun!
Then in the evening we went to Hillary’s Boat Harbour with Isaac and we saw an entertainer. He did handstands and juggling and fire eating. He balanced and juggled.
Next we saw fireworks. They were bright and loud.
Today we went for a walk around the Old Quarter of Hanoi. It was very busy and we saw lots of shops and stalls and markets. We also went in to an old heritage house.
Today we left our hotel and went to Hanoi. We took a long bus journey to get there. When we got there, it was very busy and noisy.
We went out for tea at a curry place and had a massive naan bread!
Then we went to a night market and while we were going home we saw a stage with really loud music. There was dancing and singing.
In the morning we went to Da Nang beach and swam in the sea. It was warm. Then we got a taxi to Hội An and we saw lots of lanterns, peoples and bikes. We walked across a bridge and we had ice cream in a cafe.
(Note from parents: Hội An is known for its preserved Ancient town as a trading port dating from the 15th to the 19th century. Hence it’s architectural influences include French colonial, Chinese and Japanese, making it a UNESCO World Heritage Site.)
