Today we left Barcelona. We tidied our apartment and then got a taxi to the airport and then flew back home. The flight was 2 hours and 40 minutes. When we got to Manchester it was cold. Then we got a long taxi drive home. The first thing we did was go upstairs and played with our toys. We felt happy to be home!

Arc de Triomf and Parc de la Ciutadella
Today we got the metro to the Arc de Triomf. Then we walked down to the park. We played catch and then went to the ping pong tables and played with the tennis ball on the tables. Afterwards we found a small play area and played there for a while. Then we walked back to the metro and got it home.
National Museum of Singapore, Apple Store and Little India
Today we went to the National Museum of Singapore. We learnt about the history of Singapore from hundreds of years ago and all about WWII.
For lunch we had fish and chips and ice cream. Then we went upstairs and then went down a path with screens showing moving pictures of forests and wildlife. At the end there was a room with falling stars.
Then we went down to another room and we played on the steering wheel of a big ship and we tied knots.
After the museum we went to the Apple Store and did a music session with Garage Band.
Then we got a taxi to Little India and went to an Indian food court. We had chicken curry and naan bread and paratha and rice. It was a little bit spicy but nice. Afterwards we walked around Little India and then we went back to our hostel.
Merlion Park
Today we walked to the water front and saw the Singapore Merlion. It was a big stone lion with a body of a fish that spurts out water. We also saw a building with a boat on it. Then we walked over a bridge towards the theatre and sat there for a rest. It was very hot.
Darling Harbour
Today we got a bus and train to the city centre. Then we walked to Darling Harbour. It was raining but we played in the play area. There was a zip wire, a climbing wall and ropes.
St. Kilda
Today we went to St. Kilda and played and had a picnic on the beach. Then we went to see Luna Park but it was closed so we couldn’t go in. Next we walked along a long pier and saw moulting penguins. Then we walked to an adventure playground and played on a trampoline.
The Australian Open
Today we went back to Federation Square and got some more free sun screen. Then we went back to the hilltop and went on the Sky Flyer 2 times. We got a free lanyard for our ticket. We also got some free chips. Then we went to the tennis park.
We played lots of tennis games. I also went on a ninja course and climbing wall where you could jump off. Sam went on a trampoline and zipwire as well. We also saw a PJ Mask show and got some more freebies. I went on stage for a tennis competition and Sam went on stage for a lego building competition.
We saw a Fortnite competition. There were lots of big screens and the winner got $100,000. In the game loads of people died at the last minute.
We walked over to the main tennis courts and saw some people play tennis. We saw some people dressed up as tennis balls.
We watched some the men’s finals tennis on the big screen (in the Margaret Court Arena). We left early and got a tram and watched the rest of the final at Federation Square. It was very late.
