Camp Nou

Today we met up with our friends at the Camp Nou football stadium to watch Barcelona play Eibar. The stadium was massive. Messi scored 4 and Arthur scored 1. The score was 5-0 to Barcelona. There were lots of offside goals. There were nearly 68000 people and there was lots of singing and shouting.

Puzzling World

Today we went to Puzzling World and first we went to the Great Maze. There were towers in each corner and they were: yellow, green, red and blue and there were bridges connecting the different parts. First we found the blue tower, then I found the yellow tower, then green and finally red. Daddy and I couldn’t find a way out.

Then we went to the illusions room and then we went in a room that was slanted. There was a room that when you went in at one end you were massive and at the other end you were tiny.

Then we took pictures where we were holding up the leaning tower of Wanaka.

Island Aqua Park

We left our holiday park at Gracetown and drove to Busselton and saw a long jetty. (Note from parents: it is the longest timber-piled jetty in the southern hemisphere at 1,841 metres long.)

Then we drove back to Perth and went to Hillarys Boat Harbour with Clare and Isaac. We went on huge inflatables and we went on it for my birthday party! We wore life jackets. It was like a ninja course. I jumped in. I fell in. I jumped off a tall platform. There were monkey bars. It was fun!

After we had tea we went back to Clare and Isaac’s house and they gave me a doughnut cake!

Cape Leeuwin

We left our holiday park and drove to Cape Leeuwin lighthouse. This is where the Southern and Indian Oceans meet at the furthest south west point of Australia. To the south is Antarctica and to the west is Africa. I saw where they met through a telescope. I also bought a tiny one that works very well.

Inside the visitor centre we spelt out names in telegraph flags. Then we practised morse code and learned about radio signals.
